Haven’t done a pencil sketch in a long time. Decided to do one of my ocs again. It’s Shinta,who likes girls and his carrying one. And has a problem with keeping his hormones in check. BAD DOG BOI

Again rough sketch here,so a lot of things look off.

WIP: Varius and Devi - studying
Been a long time since I’ve drawn these two. Will add a background later,fix anatomy and OBVIOUSLY put some words in those blank pages xD

Varius loves to study and know more about the world,while Devi hates reading and gets bored easily.

MGR:R Raiden - WIP no.3
I didn’t forget this. Been taking me a while due to my usual distractions. Games and my job. Oh right,I forgot. I WAS SICK IN THE PAST WEEK. Freakin’ ALLERGIES.

Might have some time to get this done this week. HOPEFULLY. Had to rely on a screenshot again. Nothing wrong in that,just bothers me a little that when I have an idea and just draw it,it comes out looking dumb. Doesn’t help with the fact I’m not used to Raiden’s armor design.

WIP - Persona design.
I’ve been struggling with this concept for months and had to get SOMETHING finished. I still think it’s incomplete. This has probably been the most challenging and fustrating at times design to think up. Ever since I’ve played the Persona games,I’ve always wanted to make a Persona for myself. It’s really a challenge to make a “mirror” of you.

A list of ideas that came to mind when putting this together:

-not comfortable or easy outfit design. I literally challenged myself with this outfit.
-armor,but not too much. I was thinking of Samurai armor[because I LOVE SAMURAIS],but since I’m not japanese :p
-Some visual kei influence. Once again with the Japanese culture,I LOVE japanese fashion. BRING ON THE BELTS.

- Keeping it genderless. Due to what my arcana is,I didn’t want the character design to lean towards a specific gender.[I did think of Naoto’s persona in mind for the outfit]

-Skulls,skulls,halloween,dia de los muertos! Gothic. And of course devil wings xD

-Looking at other Persona designs. I’ve noticed some wear masks or a helmet.

Persona and personality. I guess the main thing to keep in mind with myself is,I dont consider myself girly at all,but I have no problem flirting/teasing with guys,lol.  I wont dress girly,but I don’t have a problem with wearing tight skin shirts/tank tops or shorts to show off my legs.

Would really appreciate some feedback or some critique over this.

MGR:R Raiden - WIP no.2
I’m still nit picky about his lower jaw-teeth-skin-thing. Started on this last week but then my workplace started giving me more hours and have slowly been working on it. Also his nose was giving me a hard time,so that took longer to deal with,lol. Love how his face is turning out though. For those who have played the game “might” recognize this scene. I just decided to draw it at a different angle. And totally got the lighting wrong but WHATEVER

WIP - Gig [Again x2]Well,this was eventually going to make a return. An idea that started small turned out to be something big. Results will be revealed later.

Edit: Yes I know,I forgot his blue markings on his face. It’s STILL A WIP.

Been in a mood to draw Raiden after playing the Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance demo. My mind is still blown :o Also I love that boss song.

Vencel and Rena - And thoughts about this year.

Was in a mood to draw a couple and of course improve on drawing female anatomy. While drawing this I was thinking about this year, and how it’s been a very rough year for not just me but for others that I know. It literally is,the year that tests your limits and strengths.

Drawing has been very helpful this past year,not only have I improved my art,but will also still continue to improve more. It helps ease my mind when I’m drawing and not think too much or be bothered by other things that have dragged me down or actually make me feel sad. Basically,personal problems that I do not want to discuss out in the open. But for those who I have talked to about it,already know what’s been bothering me.

As the saying goes…. “whatever happens, happens.”
